Pictures from Monday

October 13th, a very long monday.

Jasper (Tuesday, 18.33)

At 7.45 am (local time) the dutch CTG-group gattered at Amsterdam Airport. Take-off at 10.30 am and touch-down (9 hours later) at 12.15 (local time, minneapolis).

We took the train to Government Plaza (downtown) and walked to our hotel, the embassy Embassy SuitesHotel Minneapolis-Downtown. More then enough space in the rooms but sadly no wireless internet connection. So we walked to the next building were we are using a public wireless accespoint. The problem should be fixed by tomorrow, but ....

Before dinner we had a meeting to discuss the school visits planned for tomorrow and Wednesday. At the same time the waiter brought us some well earned drinks, in a very easy paste J. At the end of the meeting we started preparations for the convention, gathering presentations and background information to put on the memorysticks. The handouts are put in our orange maps with Dutch printing on it. With these two items we should leave a good impression, sharing Dutch knowledge on ICT and education.

After dinner we went back to the hotel to close this very long Monday with a final drink and looking forward to tomorrow.
